Learn about the SCREEN Program

The SCREEN Program is a research initiative focused on helping women in Ohio stay healthy through cancer screening. We provide clear, easy-to-understand information about breast, cervical, and colon cancer and connect women with trusted support and resources to help them get screened.

Our work is part of the SCREEN Study, which aims to improve cancer screening among women in Central Ohio in partnership with clinics and community organizations in Franklin, Licking, and Union counties. The goal of this work is to reduce cancer and its impact across all populations by improving awareness, access, and support for screening.

This website was created to make cancer screening easier to understand and easier to access. Here, you can learn about these cancers, understand when screening is recommended, explore tools that help you better understand your screening needs, and connect with a SCREEN Navigator who can answer questions and help you find local resources such as screening locations, transportation, and other support services.

The SCREEN Study is supported by a research grant from the American Cancer Society.
